The wait is over as the much awaited single by Phyno “Beautiful”, is finally out.
Nigerian rapper Phyno whose real name is Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike became famous about fourteen years ago because of his unique style of rap. He chose to do his thing in his indigenous Igbo language. Though there were artistes before him that did the same thing like Nigga Raw but he changed the game completely – he stood out. Phyno’s uncommon talent attracted him to many great acts including Nigerian rap legend, Olamide who was then blazing. They had this musical chemistry they had no choice than to do a joint album together “2 Kings” which was a massive success.
For many years, the Penthauze Music boss dominated that space. And it is not a hyperbole understatement to say “Baba Obago” is a music enigma. Asides the rap thing,he sings effortlessly and he could be said to be an all round musician.
For many years, he was on top of his game but at some point, he went on a hiatus for reasons best known to him. Before he left, some artistes who did the same genre rose but could not subdue him.
Phyno returns as a lion that he truly is with this brand new love tune, “Beautiful”. This is not the first or second time he would be doing this – he has done it many times and has succeeded at it.
Phyno “Beautiful” is a testament to the truism that he is a master in the niche of love song making and it a teaser track of his forthcoming album, “Let That Sink In” which is due for release on October 30th, 2026. The spanking new joint is such a sweet Igbo Highlife melody!
