Finally, the much awaited single by Teni “Zion” ft Olamide, is out.
Nigerian singer, Teni whose real name is Teniola Apata, rose to stardom about ten years ago following the success of her breakthrough single “Wait”. Since then, there is hardly any year she ceases to delight us with her sweet melodies. And from the inception of her music journey till today Teni has never hidden her bias for love jams and she does them so effortlessly. She has worked with Nigeria ‘s big acts in the past to produce some dope love music. One of such collaborations is “For You” featuring Afrobeats superstar, Davido.
This time around, she teams up with Nigerian Hip-Hop guru, Olamide, for brand new love banger, “Zion”. Though a rapper “Baddo” has shown many times he is an all round artiste as he sings very well too. He has performed love songs in the past and did greatly. I remember “Melo Melo” and “Love No Go Die” and how big these joints were. In fairness, when it comes to the kind of music, Ola goes all out. I also recollect his love-themed Hip hop jams as “Unconditionally” featuring Peruzzi off his “Carpe Diem” album and how successful that track was.
