The wait is over as the much-awaited single by Adekunle Gold “Believe”, is finally out.
Nigerian Alternative/ Pop singer, Adekunle Kosoko, better known as Adekunle Gold rose to stardom in 2013 with the release of “Sade”. This, in weeks, became a smash hit and got every good music lover talking: who is this talented lad? While that received massive reception, he went ahead to drop “Orente” that was also a huge success. There was hardly any wedding party you went where you wouldn’t hear that love hit. In fairness, it became a “cr!minal” for any disc jockey who omitted that record at such party. It also buzzed heavily on our airwaves.
It is no news Alternative music is Adekunle Gold ‘s bias but at some point in his career especially with his “About 30” album diversified and showed the world he could also do other genres as Highlife, Pop and Dancehall, too. I’m sure you remember “Ariwo”- a Dancehall-fused banger and how loud it was. His “Money” joint off that same compilation is a typical Nigerian Highlife tune he also performed excellently. Since the release of that sophomore album, Adekunle Gold keeps evolving and has literally evolved to what I would call “Jack of all trades” in the music business. What do I mean? There’s hardly any music genre the multi-gifted artiste has not and cannot do.
Few days ago, he shared with his fans via one of f his social media pages a freshly cooked 15-tracker titled “Fuji” was ready and that it would be available for feasting on October 3rd, 2025.
He wrote:
“15 songs carefully crafted for your ears. I want you to experience the music with open ears first, feel the stories, the emotions, the journey. The featured artistes will be revealed on October 6th, but until then, let the songs speak for themselves”. FUJI out October 3rd”.

Dekunle returns to his “comfort zone” with “Believe” which is a lovely blend of Alternative music and typical Pop music. Adekunle Gold “Believe” is one cool, sweet, addictive and lyrically rich love melody.
