Zanku Records presents the official video for brand new joint, “Happy Day” by Zlatan.
Though Temidayo Raphael Omoniyi who is better known by the stage name Zlatan has been doing music since 2014, he professionally started his music career in 2017 with the release of “Jogor”. This wasn’t much of a success but the talented rapper ground harder. Luck smiled on him not too long after then with the release of indigenous rapper Chinko Ekun’s hit single “Able God” that actually made Zlatan Ibile famous. Temidayo’s delivery on that jam stood out and made Nigerian indigenous rap music enthusiasts marvel at his great talent. And in no time, his image began to grow bigger on Nigeria ‘s music scene. Before we knew it, he became one of the most sought-after rap artistes in Nigeria. That is why Naira Marley could not think of a better choice than Zlatan when making “Am I A Yahoo Boy” in 2019. It was therefore not surprising when the song went viral just hours after release.
Since then he has been on a roll. I’m sure you remember songs as “Zanku” (Legwork) and “This year”. Zlatan was so hot in 2019 Davido had to invite him on his resounding banger, “Bum Bum”. Don’t let us forget he also had two monster jams with the “African Giant”, Burna Boy- “Killin Dem” and “Gbeku”. It is interesting to note he rounded off that year with his “ZANKU” album which houses many hit tracks including “Distracted” ft. Patoranking. From then till now he has remained consistent and the truth is there is hardly any year the gifted singer won’t delight us with at least one hit song. It is there for everybody to see some of these songs as “10 Bottles” and “Ale Yi” that came out before “Happy Day” are still banging at our parties, streets and buzzing on our airwaves.
While still clearly visible at the forefront of the Nigerian music scene, he shines brighter with fresh banger, “Happy Day” by Zlatan
