The wait is over as the much-awaited track by Kizz Daniel Al Jannah is finally out.
Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe who is professionally known as Kizz Daniel (Boy Kiss) launched his music career in 2013 with his introductory single, “Woju”. While that was gathering attention from a large proportion of Nigerian music lovers, the smart artiste quickly teamed up with then blazing artistes, Tiwa Savage and Davido for a remix. That remix became a springboard that catapulted him to the Nigerian music front as it turned out to be a monster hit in 2014.
He followed up those hits in 2016 with the release of his debut album, “New Era”. Tobiloba did not disappoint as the album houses many hit tracks including unforgettable love song, “Duro”. This music project confirmed Kizz Daniel meant business and was not around to play. While we were still basking in the euphoria of that Daniel put out his sophomore album, “No Bad Songz”. When he released the tracklist of the then highly anticipated album it felt like the title was just hype but when it was out, it became clear there is no one bad song on that playlist. This won him more hearts and widened his fan base.
Since then, Kizz ensures he delights us at least bi-yearly with a sweet and ever-green album. And each time we thirst for one, he quenches our desire with great singles. I am sure you remember “4 Dayz” and “Yeba” and how soothing and banging they were. It is safe to say Kizz Daniel ranks as one of the top most consistent artistes we have in Nigeria today.
Asides his tenacity, Kizz Daniel ‘s versatility is second to none. He is never afraid to experiment a different style of music and any time he does it comes out good. How can someone who made “Jombo” still make “Chana”- a typical Dancehall banger?
While tracks from “Barnabas”, “King of Love” and “Maverick” are still playing in our heads, Kizz Daniel dishes out a brand new album titled “Lemon Chase”.
The Flyboy Inc boss teams up with Nigerian Hip-Hop artiste Odumodubvck and Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda for “Al-Jannah” which happens to be one of the fresh hits off massively trending compilation, “Lemon Chase”. Al Jannah is a dirge that softly laments the passing of those dear to our hearts . This is definitely another classic.
