[NEW MUSIC]: ID Cabasa – “Ok” ft Olamide & Ayanfe

Finally, the much-awaited track by ID Cabasa “Ok” ft Olamide and Ayanfe, is out.

Legendary Nigerian music producer, ID Cabasa, whose real name is Olumide Ogunade rose to fame in Nigeria ‘s music industry about twenty years ago with his making of sounds that ruled for years. It all started during the days of Coded Tunes that paraded “OGs” like Lord of Ajasa, 2Phat and 9ice. I remember their Juju-themed collaboration, “Bere Mi” and how steadily it banged on our airwaves. He became more popular in 2007 with the production of 9ice’s breakthrough single, “Little Money”.

Ogunade switched up his game in 2007 with the making of 9ice’s album title track, “Gongo Aso”. This evolved into a monster hit that buzzed everywhere: clubs, parties and streets. And till today, it remains a classic. That was not his only contribution to the then hot playlist as he is also the brain behind other hugely successful tracks as “Photocopy”, “Kasa Final” and “Ade Ori”. After the heat of the “Gongo Aso” album cooled down, ID went into hiding for reasons best known to him but lately he came out back to the business of music making.

The greatly skillful producer comes through with this brand new one titled “Ok”.

ID Cabasa “Ok” ft Olamide and Ayanfe is an Afro Hip-hop banger off the veteran beatmaker’s fresh music compilation, “Unfinished Business”. This is not the first time the producer and “Baddo” would team up and it is there for everyone to see whenever they enter the studio together, all hell break loose. Olamide’s rap performance here is, as always, top-notch and Ayanfe’s vocal delivery is unbelievable.
