The wait is over as the highly anticipated track by Olamide “Hybrid”, is finally out.
Hybrid is a dance banger that dropped alongside Olamide ‘s just released 11th studio album which is entitled Olamide. Since he started his music career Olamide has always shown his bias for Dance songs and if you have been following him you would know this to be true. Let us go back to the early days of his career. In 2012 the Nigerian rapper after the success of his then hits, “Eni Duro” and “Omo To Shan”, put out his debut album, “Yahoo Boy No Laptop” which happened to be a huge success. What contributed to the success of this album? YBNL houses many hit songs including “Luvin You”. This jam was arguably the hottest on that album as it was a dance hit that rocked everywhere. There was hardly any party you went to in December 2012 that you won’t hear it. It also ceaselessly buzzed on our airwaves and streets.
Though the multi talented artiste’s domain is rap music, he ensures he delights us from time to time with his banging dance tracks. Olamide ‘s penchant for this type of music birthed “Bobo” in 2015 which got everyone doing the “Shakiti Bobo” dance. While its heat was still yet to cool down, Baddo released “Wo” that apparently banged everywhere. And at a time we were still enjoying the frenzy of that, Olamide gave us “Science Student”. I don’t have to say much about this as you and I know the “trouble” it caused.
The YBNL Nation boss once again does what he knows how to do well with the release of “Hybrid”. The hot dance banger is less than thirty hours old and it is already No 1 on some Nigeria ‘s music streaming platforms charts.
